Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory Accountant

About Us:

J.Lindeberg is a renowned global apparel brand committed bridging sports and fashion. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in New York City. This role will report to the North America COO with opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of the business and foster an entrepreneurial approach to career growth.

This role will be based in our New York City Showroom/Office and is currently a hybrid role, consisting of a 3 day in office and 2 day work from home work week.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

• Process and code invoices for timely payment.
• Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Prepare and process vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate records.

Accounts Receivable:

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts.
• Resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes.
• Liaise with AR Factor partner and reconciliation of accounts.

Inventory Accounting:

• Process and account for inventory receipts.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and adjust records as needed.
• Analyze inventory levels and identify potential issues.
• Prepare sales reporting for available inventory quantities.

General Accounting:

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
• Support ad-hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; Microsoft Business Central experience a plus
• Advanced Excel skills a must
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the fashion industry preferred.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and motivated to succeed
• U.S. work authorization without employer sponsorship

Salary Range:

• $60,000 - $70,000 USD annually
