Title: Territory Sales and Account Manager; United States / North America
Reports to: VP Sales; North America
Working hours: Full time / Hybrid (4/1) office / showroom in Manhattan, NY
Areas of responsibility:
Objectives:
- Manage the performance of JL wholesale accounts within your territory by facilitating quarterly buying process, identifying product assortment opportunities, developing approved line plans, and carefully supporting sell-thru efforts in season.
- In this role you will own the creation and execution of the wholesale strategy for your region in close collaboration with Vice President and cross-functional team leads, i.e. marketing, PR, and operations.
- Drive profitable and YOY sustainable market share growth while ensuring all existing and new accounts respect the premium image of the J.Lindeberg brand.
Working tasks:
- Responsible for the implementation of our commercial strategies within the region and distribution channels
- Accountable for the day-to-day details necessary to run a successful wholesale business; including B2B partner calls, troubleshooting, and customer service
- Create strong long-term sustainable partnerships with our key partners supported by joint business plans and seasonal account mapping.
- Establish professional working relationships with all partners inside your territory
- Represent the interests of the wholesale channel within the J.Lindeberg company with fact-based analysis, personal observations, and trade insights.
- Own all first level negotiations within the territory regarding margin, RTV, VA, etc.
- Monitor and report on account development, competitive landscape, sell-through and propose / initiate necessary actions to meet or exceed agreed sales plans.
- Assortment Planning of all seasonal Collections, including pre order and reorders
- Ensure deliveries are on time and inventories are correct for each customer.
- Work actively to ensure customers pay invoices on time and bad debt is avoided.

Qualifications: Relevant wholesale industry experience with a leading lifestyle brand.
Professional Background: We believe you have been working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial sales environment for over 5 years with demonstrated results and contacts. Ideally this experience is in the apparel & footwear industry with focus on premium sports & lifestyle.
Functional: 5+ years in Sales & Marketing with strong strategic and analytical skills.

You get people onboard and possess natural negotiation and communication skills both verbally and written. You see the big picture. You can play the short and long games at the same time. You are incredibly comfortable with numbers and love to analyze your business to identify opportunities and win.
