Social Media Intern – 6-Month Internship Role Description
As Social Media & Content Creator Intern, you will be a part of the Global Marketing Team and support in optimizing J.LINDEBERG’s social media presence with focus on Instagram and TikTok. This internship offers hands-on experience across our channels, including managing content calendars, assisting with content creation, and supporting community building initiatives. You will play a key role in driving brand visibility, engagement, and overall impact. This internship is unpaid and only open to currently enrolled students.

Reports to: Social Media Manager
Working tasks
Social Media Management and Coordination
Support the Social Media Manager in scheduling and publishing content across various platforms.
Assist in maintaining the content calendar and ensuring timely posting.
Contribute to the creation of engaging visual content, including short-form videos and on-brand copy.
Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, tags/mentions, and assist with community management.
Analytics and Reporting
Assist in tracking and compiling key performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth).
Analyze competitors and stay ahead of industry and social media trends to inform strategy.
Administrative and Organizational Support
Maintain asset libraries (photos, videos, templates)
Support day-to-day team operations.
Take part in internal and external meetings, wider marketing team meetings, and cross-departmental sessions to develop a broader understanding of marketing in the fashion industry.

Desired Characteristics and Qualification
Currently studying in a relevant field such as Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, Fashion Management, or a similar area.
Interested in gaining hands-on experience in social media and marketing.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
Stays informed on current and emerging social media marketing trends.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Analytical mindset with basic knowledge of social media metrics and performance reporting.
Comfortable working with digital systems and tools — basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Familiarity with social media tools (i.e. Later, Dash Social, Sprout) is a plus.
Strong written and verbal skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Collaborative and team-oriented attitude with a positive mindset and a willingness to grow in a fast-paced, international environment.
