Job Description: Logistics Coordinator
Contract: Fixed term contract (maternity cover)
Reports to: Logistics Manager
Objective
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day logistics flow across inbound and outbound operations. You will work closely with warehouses, forwarders, and internal teams to make sure orders, deliveries, documents, and system-related issues are followed up and handled correctly. The role requires a structured and hands-on approach, with the ability to coordinate several tasks and stakeholders from start to finish.
Main working tasks
· Logistics Administration: Post documents, handle delivery and shipment documentation, support invoicing, and make sure administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
· Delivery Surveillance: Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries, follow up on delays or missing information, and keep internal teams updated on delivery status.
· Warehouse Contact: Maintain close contact with our EU warehouse to follow up on deliveries, resolve day-to-day issues, and support smooth inbound and outbound operations.
· Customer-Specific Deliveries: Ensure deliveries to special customers are made according to their unique instructions.
· Problem Solving: Address and resolve logistics-related issues promptly and efficiently.
· Forwarders: Maintain contact with forwarders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Essential Characteristics
· Education within logistics, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent experience.
· Experience with logistics administration, order handling, invoicing, and delivery follow-up.
· Comfortable working with documents, deadlines, and daily operational follow-up.
· Good Excel skills, including working with lists, pivot tables, and functions such as VLOOKUP.
· Experience working in an ERP system is required; experience with Business Central is preferred.
· Experience in logistics coordination or a similar administrative logistics role.
· Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, warehouses, and forwarders.
· Fluent in English is a must; Swedish is an advantage.
